What will daily life be like for a child at Cypress View?
Family
Family life within the house is just that - family. Loving parents in a safe, warm, welcoming home. Life together in safe environment with safe people where children can learn to unload their burdens and experience rest.
Nature
Opportunities for kids to be outside and enjoy being kids, whether on our 1.3 acre multipurpose field and playground or around our muiti-acre property, set off from the road, providing ample opportunity to explore nature.
Houseparents
No rotating shift workers. Each home at will be staffed by loving, Christian houseparents, dedicated to loving and leading the children in the home.
Resource Parents
Volunteers providing respite care for houseparents when they have time off. The relationships built and enjoyed connect the children to a larger community.
Church Involvement
Churches invested in each of our families and our families invested in their local churches, learning and growing together in what it looks like to be part of the body of Christ.
Community Support
Strategic community partnerships and resources that support each child’s individual needs and guide them to faithful love and service within their community.
