  • While it depends on many factors, we are aiming for 3-5 years to opening.
    We are praying (and ask you to pray with us) that we could open even sooner than that.

  • Right now all of our fundraising is going to design and engineering of our homes, site development, and building the initial two homes. There are also some additional administrative and banking fees. After that, donations will be used for hiring and training staff and paying salaries, outfitting the houses, providing a vehicle for transportation, insurance, education expenses, etc.

    We believe that the greatest thing you can do is partner with us in prayer and we humbly would ask that you would pray for Cypress View. You can find out specific ways to pray for us under the ‘Get Involved’ tab.

    Practically, there will also be many volunteer needs once the building process is underway and as we get closer to opening. We hope to partner with individuals, church groups, school groups, civic groups, etc. to help us with volunteer projects. We will update the website with those needs as they arise. So check back in with us!

  • Yes, eventually we will be caring for children who are privately placed. There are many circumstances in which a child may need a home and parents or guardians need to do what is best for the child by placing them in the care of a place like Cypress View.
    If you are in immediate need of help please reach out to us. While we are not yet open, we have networked with several children’s homes doing what we are doing and we can connect you with them.
